Laptop restarts continuously after soda spill

Problem description:

The laptop restarts continuously after soda spill. The power light turns on, stays on for a few seconds and then laptop restarts. No image appears on the screen.

Possible cause:

Motherboard damage.

Most likely spilled soda damaged the motherboard. It’s necessary to disassemble the laptop in order to find other parts damaged by the spill.

In most cases motherboards damaged by liquid cannot be repaired and have to be replaced.
