1. Memory failure.
2. Video card failure.

1. Try reconnecting memory modules, maybe one of them is not making good contact with the memory slot.
Try removing memory modules one by one. Maybe one of the memory modules is bad. The laptop might start properly when the faulty memory module is removed.

If you have only one memory module, try moving it to another slot. Maybe the slot itself is bad.

Try replacing memory module with another known good module.

2. If you have a discrete video card, which is not common, there could be a problem with the video card.

When inverter or backligth lamp fails, you still should be able to use the laptop with video on the external monitor.

The laptop stars with a pinkish screen. All white colors have a light pink tint to it. After a while the screen goes completely dark. If you restart the laptop it starts with a pinkish screen again but after some time it goes dark again. Time intervals between screen failures may vary after each restart. If you reduce the screen brightness, the screen stays on for a longer time.

One side of the laptop screen is more dim than the other side. Adjusting the screen brightness doesn’t help.
