The laptop laptop battery gets very hot. The battery wasn’t so hot before.

The laptop battery discharges very quickly. The laptop battery charge goes from 100% to 0% in a few minutes. The laptop works normal with AC adapter plugged.

The laptop shuts down when the AC adapter unplugged even with the battery still installed into the laptop. The laptop detects the battery and says it’s charged 100% but will not on the battery power at all. The laptop operates properly from AC power with the battery removed.

The laptop battery discharges very quickly after reaching some charge level. For example, it takes normal time for the battery to discharge from 100% to 75%, but after reaching 75% level it discharges to 0% very quickly. The same failure occurs after recharging the battery again.

The laptop stopped charging the battery. The laptop shuts down as soon as you unplug the AC adapter. The laptop works fine from AC power even when the battery is removed.
